Seven metering modes in an aluminum body the size of a remote. Color temperature, exposure, flicker and green/magenta shift in a single reading. It’s in our catalog because some productions can’t settle for “almost” when it comes to color. It has to be exactly right.
Most studios skip metering. They work by eye and fix it in post. It works, but it leaves a margin that shows when the client reviews the final result. The LIT DUO 1 closes that margin before the first shot.

Can I rent just a camera body without a lens, or just a lens?
Yes. Every item in our catalog is rented individually. Camera bodies, lenses, light meters, tripods and accessories are separate products you can combine based on what your production needs. No fixed bundles and no minimum rental forcing you to take gear you won’t use. You decide what goes on your list.

Do you have film cameras for rent in Barcelona?
Yes. We keep a curated selection of film cameras for productions where grain, exposure latitude and the pace of the process are part of the project’s visual language. Film has a texture that digital still imitates and never quite replicates, and some sessions need that difference. Availability on request, depending on format and shoot.

Where can I rent ND filters in Barcelona?
At openbcn studios you can rent neutral density (ND) filters in several strengths to control long exposures, harsh midday light and wide apertures outdoors, plus polarizers for reflections in product work and graduated filters for demanding skies. Every filter is maintained, scratch-free and comes with the right adapter rings, so it fits your lens without improvising.

Do you rent fluid heads for video?
Yes. We have Manfrotto 502HD and Benro S4 fluid heads for controlled pan and tilt moves. They’re crossover supports that work for video and for photography when a session needs smooth movement or long compositions. If your production is entirely video and you need dedicated capture gear, that isn’t our main focus, but we’re happy to advise on the best option for your project.
