The difference between almost right and exact color is measured. Not guessed.
Seven metering modes in an aluminium body the size of a TV remote. Color temperature, exposure, flicker and green/magenta shift in a single reading. We keep it in the catalog because there are productions where color can't be "almost". It has to be the color it is.
Most studios skip metering. They work by eye and correct in post. It works, but it leaves a margin that shows when the client reviews the final result. The LIT DUO 1 closes that margin before the first frame.

Do you have the Nanlux Evoke 2400B available for rental in Barcelona?
Yes. The Nanlux Evoke 2400B is part of the permanent openbcn studios catalog and is available for rental in the studio or on location. We're one of the few rental houses in Barcelona holding this fixture in inventory. We recommend checking availability in advance if your production depends on it — demand tends to be high during advertising campaign periods and brand shoots.

Do you have continuous lighting powerful enough to shoot stills and video at the same time?
Yes. The Nanlux Evoke 2400B (2,400W), the Evoke 1200D (1,200W daylight) and the Nanlite FC-720C (750W full color) have more than enough output for mixed stills and video production in the studio or on the cyclorama. The advantage of high-output continuous LED is that the light itself doesn't change between shooting stills and rolling video — the same fixture, the same color temperature and the same intensity cover both productions. For campaigns that have to deliver stills and motion on the same day, it removes the need to build two separate lighting set-ups.

Are the modifiers in the catalog compatible across Nanlux and Nanlite?
Nanlux modifiers are designed specifically for the Evoke fixtures, which use a proprietary mount wider than the standard Bowens — necessary given the dimensions and output of the 1,200W and 2,400W models. Nanlite modifiers use standard Bowens, compatible with the entire FC/FS and Forza range. Adapters exist that allow you to cross between systems, but at openbcn studios we present them separately to help you choose the right modifier for each system.

Why do you only work with Nanlux and Nanlite, and not Aputure, ARRI or Godox?
Three operational reasons. First: Nanlux and Nanlite have official technical service in Barcelona, which allows us to offer you a better level of service. Second: Nanlux and Nanlite fixtures are noticeably lighter and easier to handle than the Aputure equivalents at the same output, which cuts down rigging and set-up time. Third: they were among the first manufacturers to build green–magenta correction into their controls, a metric that in professional production makes the difference between real skin tone and the greenish LED cast you have to fix in post.
